This prompt transforms any text into an instruction for Midjourney to create a suitable image. The prompt takes into account the ideal subject, supporting characters or objects, and visual style for the image.
The first step of this prompt transforms your text into a movie scene description. It then takes this output and distills it into the description of a YouTube thumbnail. Finally, it condenses that still description into a short message that’s suitable for an AI image generator like Midjourney.
💡 With the current Alpha version of this prompt, you should get a prompt that’s between 50-85% useful. You probably have to tweak some details about the main subject, remove redundant, confusing, or duplicate elements, and add Midjourney-specific parameters like the aspect ratio or chaos setting.
Also, with the release of Midjourney version 5, it’s able to comprehend much larger blocks of text. I’ve been getting some promising results from just inserting the output of step two into Midjourney as a prompt (also see the Example section below.)
The current version also takes the information from your input text literally, i.e., it doesn’t search for visual metaphors or analogies. I hope to improve this in the Beta and final versions.

We were wrong.
It's March 2023, and algorithms are coming for us creatives first.
